Western Regional Minister Hosts Honorable Mavis Hawa Koomson

The Western Regional Minister, Honourable Dr Kwabena Okyer Darko-Mensah has hosted the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, Honorable Mavis Hawa Koomson to discuss issues affecting the fishery Industry.

The meeting formed part of the itinerary of the Fisheries Minister in her regional tour.

They had a conversation around the comprehensive plan of the government to ensure that the industry becomes viable and competitive.

Honourable Hawa Koomson was happy with the reception given by the Regional Minister and as a result, expressed her readiness to work with him to improve the lives of the Fisherfolks.

On his side, the Regional Minister commended the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development for her visit and wished her fruitful deliberations as she intended to engage stakeholders in the fishing industry to define the business for the welfare of Ghana.
