Wenchi MP gives financial Support to 48 Tertiary Students

48 students at the various tertiary institutions have received financial assistance from the Member of Parliament for Wenchi Constituency.

Honourable Alhaji Haruna Seidu disbursed a total amount of GH¢ 50,000 for the settlement of the various school fees among the beneficiaries.

He reiterated that he assisted the students with his share of the MP's  Common Fund whiles assuring his readiness to support more brilliant but needy students within his enclave.
“Even though it is going to be challenging, I will do everything within my power to ensure my support for brilliant but needy students within this area. This I believe will a long way in expanding our educated youth network whiles ensuring development”, he stated.

Some of the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the MP, they prayed for him and also assured him that the monies would be used for its intended purpose.

The Wenchi Municipal Director of  Education, Mrs Mary Nyarko Adutwum thanked the Legislature for the gesture.

She also encouraged the beneficiaries to take their studies serious to the benefit of the MP's gesture.
