Wenchi: MP donates dual desks to schools
Ayaayo M/A and Bepotiri/A basic schools received 30 pieces of dual desks each while Bronoso M/A and Asuofiri R/C basic schools received 20 dual desks each.
Francis Boakye The member of Parliament for Wenchi Constituency, Honorable Alhaji Siedu Haruna has donated 150 dual desks to basic schools in the area.
He reiterated that he is well committed to education and would make sure every school in the constituency has furniture to improve quality education.
In an exclusive interview with soireenews.com Nana Anfreh Damanata, the Lawmaker said he decided in consultation with the Municipal Director of Education to bridge to furniture deficit in the public schools from his share of the MPs GETfund.

Honorable Alhaji Siedu Haruna charged school authorities to take good care of the dual desks.
Deputy Director of Education, Mr. Joseph Yaw Mensah received the desks on behalf of the schools and thanked the MP for the gesture.
The donation he said was timely as some students in the Municipality have to sit on the floor to learn.
