The Caucus For Mature Democrats (CMD) has served notice of its resolve to furiously, fiercely, and aggressively resist any attempt by the government through the attorney general to fall in defense of Madam Cecilia Dapah.

Cecilia Dapah was the immediate past Minister in charge of Sanitation and Water Resources but resigned her position in the heat of the loss of a sum of money including $1 million and £300,000 and an unspecified amount of money in Ghana cedis discovered in her room amidst other issues.

The husband has since claimed ownership of the said amount of money following which the attorney general indicated taking over the case from the prosecutors.

It is in the spirit of the above that the Caucus for Matured Democrats(CMD) is foretelling the Akufo Addo-Bawumia and Ernest Addison-led government that they will not stand aloof while government officials defend the abject thievery of Cecilia Dapah.

CMD maintained that not even the supreme court will have the least attempt to defend the criminality of Cecilia Dapaah.

"Enough of that nonsense, corruption, and criminal clearances of this useless Akufo Addo NPP government", CMD noted.

The Caucus of Matured Democrats stressed the urgent need for all well-meaning Ghanaians to rally behind in their attempt to ensure sanity in all facets of the economy.
