 The Member of Parliament for Jaman North Constituency, Honourable Ahenkwaa Yaw Frederick has promised to financially support the youth in the area who are interested in learning vocational skills to help them establish their own businesses.

According to him, youth empowerment is very key in his development agenda for the constituency.

He promised to do more to resource the youth in his constituency to be good and independent entrepreneurs to secure their livelihoods.

He noted that he is determined to create an enabling environment for the youth and the unemployed to engage more residents.

This, he said include promoting quality vocational education that prepares them for the future.

He revealed that the empowerment of the youth with education and skill training is key to the economic development of the country.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony at Brodi a suburb in the Tain District, Honourable Ahenkwaa said that, he pledged to pay the graduation fees which amounts to GHc 2,200 for apprentices who were graduating.

He assured to ensure that he uses part of his common fund to feed all the youth who are learning vocational skills in the Jaman North till they graduate and enrol those who find vocational skills attractive in various vocational training.
