Murdered Soldier: My Life In Danger, Kwesi Alhaji Threatens To kill Me–Patrick Winibood Ndego Cries Out

Mr Patrick Winibood Ndego, the man who sold the land to the slain soldier Lance Corporal Michael Danso, has stated that his personal life has been under serious danger following the contact death threats issued on his life by Kwesi Alhaji without recourse to the law of the country.

According to young estate developer, Kwesi Alhaji has allegedly threatened to end his by hook or by crook in connection of land dispute and he has officially reported these death threats to the police of Ghana Police Service but they haven't done anything about it yet.
Mr Ndego told journalists that Kwesi Alhaji has boldly be issuing several death threats on his life in the full glare of the police officers 
at the Central East Regional Police Command headquarters at Millennium City but no action has been taken by the police to arrest Kwesi Alhaji over these issues.
"I am saying that l have reported in several  occasions to the police in the area that Kwesi Alhaji has been threatening my life all the times that he is going to kill me over the land dispute and eventually he (Kwesi Alhaji) has ended up  succeeded in ordering Benlord Ababio aka Nana Barima Ababio and Nana Fifii to kill the military officer who has purchased land from me," Mr Ndego stated.
"I think that if the police should have attached seriousness to this matter l don't think that there would be the killed of the soldier who bought his land from me and l am seriously in deep pain and l am not going to forget the killing of soldier on our land," he sorrowfully stated.
Mr Ndego disclosed these when he was speaking in an interview with some senior journalists at the premises of District Court at Achimota in Accra on Thursday May 16, 2024 to share his sentiment following the demise of his client and called for the immediate interdiction or reshuffle of some senior police officers at the Central East Regional Police Command headquarters at Millennium City.
"We are calling for the interdiction of the Commander of the Central East Regional Police Command at Millennium, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Frederick Adjei
because he is sleeping in his job and also supporting the land-guards to visit attacks on the land developers in the area. 
"IGP and President must act now to reshuffle or interdict ASP Frederick Adjei to safe our lives and properties because it is not an secret in the area that ASP Frederick Adjei and land-guards are friends," he alleged.
This comes to light when he joined the family members of the slain soldier to hear the court proceedings in the trial of Benlord Ababio and his accomplice, Nana Fifii who were arrested in connection with the gruesome death of a military officer at Millennium City.

The court remanded a self-styled traditional ruler of Gomoa Fetteh, Benlord Ababio aka Nana Barima Ababio and his accomplice, Nana Fifii who were arrested in connection with the gruesome death of a military officer at Millennium City into police custody for two weeks.
Benlord Ababio alias Nana Barima Ababio and his accomplice, Nana Fifii who were described by the police facts also notorious land guards were arraigned to the law court on Thursday May 16, 2024 on a provisional charge of murder.
Benlord Ababio and Nana Fifii have been arrested and provisionally charged of murder for killing Lance Corporal Michael Danso on Tuesday April 30, 2024 at Millennium City in the Central Region.
The suspects allegedly shot the late soldier who had gone to the Millennium City Police Station to report an incident of trespassing on a half plot of land which is a subject of litigation.

The two suspects, Benlord Ababio and Nana Fifii have both denied bail although their lawyers have please the court to grand the bail.
However, when the two suspects who wore nose mark to cover their faces appeared before the court, their pleas were not taken but the court presided over by His Worship Prince Owusu, remanded them into the police custody to reappear on May 30, 2024.
This development follows a request by the police prosecutor for the two suspects to be remanded for further investigations.
According to the police prosecutor, these alleged suspected killers were not be given bail anyhow considering their personal lives and the very serious crime they have committed in the society.

Although they have had alleged to have  committed the murder, their lives are precious to them police and that based on these grounds, Benlord Ababio and Nana Fifii have denied bail and remanded into custody for two weeks by the Achimota District Court
He indicated that the murderer, Benlord Ababio, also known as Nana Barima Ababio, fired nine shots at Lance Corporal Michael Danso, resulting in his tragic death. 
He noted that the incident occurred near the Central East Regional Police Command in Millennium City, Gomoa Fetteh, Central Region, sparking panic and tension in the area.
He expressed disappointment in the police officers on duty at the Central East Regional Police Command before the tragic event unfolded on April 30, 2024. 

He lamented the lack of courage displayed by the officers, who failed to rush to the scene and rescue Lance Corporal Michael Danso, a military officer stationed at the Army Base workshop in Burma Camp.
He stressed the need for the police to pick more people who were involved in the murdering of the soldier, noting that many suspects behind the murder of the solder are walking freely, despite the fact that the deceased had been threatened openly before his killing.
He indicated that arresting the two suspects in the connection of the killing of the informed soldier was not enough, appealing to the police to arrest Kwesi Alhaji and his accomplices to be questioned  over the death of the soldier.
He indicated that since the killers of the solder were arrested and processed before the District Court at Achimota in Accra on the provisional charge of murder they have been monitoring the proceedings of the case.
He noted that they have satisfied with the proceedings in court and believes that the court continue this way to ensure that justice prevail in the case to bring peace and unity in the area.
He described the killing of Lance Corporal Michael Danso as a very sad and unacceptable.
He blamed the police officers at the Central East Regional Police Command in Millennium City, Gomoa Fetteh, Central Region, particularly the senior ones over the death of the soldier.
He noted that he has reported several cases of land guard activities to  Central East Regional Police Command in Millennium City, Gomoa Fetteh involving Kwasi Alhaji but the officers have refused to act because they were bribed by Kwasi Alhaji.

He maintained that government’s failure to intervene would force them to take the law into their own hands and defend themselves from the torture, scare and inhumane events they had been living with in the area for the past sixteen years.
“We are appealing to the central government to immediately intervene to warn Kwesi Alhaji and his accomplices before we also take matters into our own hands,” Mr Ndego stated.
"I am sending strong warning that we are going to take the law into their own hands if the police officers have refused to devise proactive measures to flush out these land-guards on the Gomoa Fetteh lands.
He stated that they demanded for the police to arrest Kwesi Alhaji, the second suspect in the killing of Lance Corporal Michael Danso, before the soldier’s burial.
“We are appealing to national security agencies and police to apprehend Kwesi Alhaji and other alleged killers of Lance Corporal Michael Danso near the Central East Police Headquarters at Millennium City,” he declared. 
He also emphasized their desire for Kwesi Alhaji’s arrest for questioning, citing his alleged connection to the prime suspect, Benlord Ababio.
He urged National Security Agencies to address the threats posed by landguards and restore peace to the area swiftly.
Mr Ndego, however noted that, the real suspects behind the murder of the soldier are walking freely, despite the fact that the deceased had been threatened openly before his killing.
Additionally, he called on the media to investigate and expose all wrongdoing related to the issue in the Millennium city.
