Premier League captains have agreed to wear the "No Room for Racism" sleeve badge on their shirts for the 2020/21 season.

According to the PL, the inspiration behind the elevation of the campaign throughout the season is the “momentum created last season when, in consultation with the players, "Black Lives Matter" appeared on kits for all the games following the restart.”

The 'No Room For Racism' was launched in March and its wide presentation based on the extensive coverage of the competition has helped to spread the message of love and togetherness among tribes on what it means to be each brother’s keeper regardless of skin color.

The Chief Executive Officer of the PL, Richard Masters has revealed that players have a great role to play in promoting equality within the world race therefore, it was very necessary for the association to throw their support in eradicating the disease.

"We, our clubs, players, and match officials have a longstanding commitment to tackling discrimination.

"Players rightly have a strong voice on this matter, which we saw last season.

"We have continued to talk and listen to players on this issue and will support them as well as continuing to emphasize the Premier League’s position against racism.

"Discrimination in any form, anywhere, is wholly unacceptable and No Room For Racism makes our zero-tolerance stance clear.

"We will not stand still on this important issue and we will continue to work with our clubs, players, and partners to address all prejudiced behavior."

The Premier League will commence on Saturday, September 12, 2020.
