“We are loosing our youth force to alcoholism, drug abuse”- Sunyani Krontihemaa decries 

The Kontihemaa of Sunyani Traditional Area, Nana Agyeiwaa Kyeremaah Ampaabeng Sikafour has decried the rate at which the area is gradually loosing it’s youth force to excessive alcoholism and drug abuse among.

Nana Agyeiwaa Kyeremaah Ampaabeng Sikafour has decried the rate at which the area is gradually losing its youth force to excessive alcoholism and drug abuse.
The queen mother is however cautioning the youth to desist from the act as it can lead them to death or troubles. 
“Drinking makes you lose your dignity in the society and among your peers and another thing is that you can also go to jail for taking any hard substance so desist from the act”, she advised.
“Every family should take it up as a responsibility to admonish the young who are the future leaders to consider seeking education than resorting to abusing alcohol”, she appealed. 
Nana Agyeiwaa Kyeremaah Ampaabeng Sikafour made this known during a gathering at her palace to celebrate her 3rd anniversary since her enstoolment in 2018.
Touching on her achievement, she said, “I have been able to unite all the five gates of the Kontire Royal Family in the last 3years. I also made the following donations; photocopy machines to the Municipal Assembly, assorted items to some orphanage homes in the municipality, and 50 chairs to the Sunyani Anglican School.”
On his part, spokesperson for the Kontire Royal Family, Nana Boye Kwabena Boahen hailed the Queen's mother for her exceptional leadership.
“We commend you for your exceptional leadership since you took over the throne as the Krontihemaa and thank you for making the Kontire Royal family proud of you”, he said.
Nana Boye however called for a unifiable force in ensuring the development of the Sunyani Traditional Area.
“Let us come together is one formidable force yearning for development”, he stressed.
He is optimistic that will ensure the development that Sunyani Township has been yearning for decades now. 
He urged the youth to inculcate the habit of respecting the elderly and setting good examples by desisting from social vices and vice versa.
