THE MEMBER of Parliament (MP) for Upper Manya Krobo Constituency in the Eastern Region, Honourable Bismark Tetteh Nyarko, has secured letigation free land to build the Community Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compound for the people living at Aframase to provide easy access to healthcare services for the people.

The yet-to-be constructed CHPS Compound at Aframase would be furnished with medical devices and equipment to provide quality and affordable health care services to the people in Aframase and its adjoining communities.
Presently, the Soireenews.com gathered that  the community clinic is located in one of the classrooms in the only school in the Aframase community for over a decade now.
This is not ideal for teaching and learning.
Appreciating the desire of the Honourable Member of PARLIAMENT for the Constituency in assisting deprived communities, the community leaders approached the MP for assistance which he agreed.

Honourable Nyarko has facilitated the acquisition of land and work will start soon with the supply of sand and cement blocks to the project site last Monday.

The people were so enthused with the quick response of their to their request and commended him for his efforts towards  improving the health status of the people.
The people of the Aframase then offered to help through communal labour to make the project a success.
Honourable Nyarko advised them to be wary of some political opponents who go to project sites to convince the people not to offer communal labour.
"The communal labour spirit makes you owners of the project," The MP said.
"My share of the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) is not enough to meet all the infrastructural and other requests of the people, but am doing all that l can to satisfy your aspirations," the MP told the constituents.

 
He pointed out that as an MP l have been elected to serve and not to be served and he would continue to lobby for social facilities that will improve the lives of his constituents.
He mentioned that almost all the communities in the area had benefited from different kinds of social and infrastructure development projects and programmes since he was elected the MP to represent the people in the parliament.

According to the MP, he has extended electricity, built education facilities in many of the communities in the constituency and pledged to ensure 100 per cent availability of quality-drinking water for the populace in all the communities.

He noted that his constituents elected him to represent them in parliament not just to enact and pass laws, but to also use his lobbying skills to bring the needed development into the constituency to better their lives.
The MP has given assurance to do more to push the development of the constituency to the next high level.
