Ukraine-Russia War: Soldiers denying Blacks entry to Poland — Ghanaian alleges

A Ghanain-based in Poland has narrated how Ghanaians compatriots and others from Africa in Ukraine are struggling to seek refuge in Poland following Russian attacks on Ukraine.

According to James Reinhold,  Ghanaians seeking to leave the shores of Ukraine for fear of being attacked are prevented by the troops on the boarders of Ukraine.
Speaking on Ark  FM monitored by Soiree News,   Reinhold who spoke from Poland alleged the Ukrainians are allowed to leave their country with ease while Ghanaians and other Africans are not allowed.
“If you are a Ghanaian, the Ukrainian troops will tell you to wait if you want to run for your live while they will allow their people to leave the shores of Ukraine. It’s a clear case of discrimination and it has caused congestion at the border because more people are coming with buses wanting to leave Ukraine”, he explained.
James Reinhold also accused Government of Ghana (GoG) of doing little to help its citizens especially those in Ukraine and other parts of the world.
“Ghana government too has done nothing for its citizens with the Authorities in Poland so Ghanaians who have gotten the opportunity to be in Poland are now stranded”, James Reinhold observed.
Russian shelling has killed at least 11 civilians in Kharkiv, says regional governor, news agency AFP reported. Earlier Ukrainian interior ministry adviser Anton Herashchenko had said that dozens of people were killed in rocket strikes by Russian forces on Kharkiv on Monday morning. “Kharkiv has just been massively fired upon by grads (rockets). Dozens of dead and hundreds of wounded,” he said in a post on Facebook.
Talks between Ukraine and Russia have ended, Russian news agency TASS reported citing a source. Meanwhile, at the request of the Ukrainian government, French president Emmanuel Macron has spoken to Vladimir Putin. The Élysée Palace said in a statement: “The president reiterated the international community’s demand that [Russia] halt its offensive against Ukraine, and reaffirmed the necessity of immediately establishing a ceasefire.”  It added that Putin “confirmed his willingness to commit to all three points”.
UN rights boss Bachelet has said that at least 102 civilians, including seven children, have died in Ukraine since the Russian invasion began. Moreover, 304 have been injured. She, however, added that the real figure may well be “considerably higher”. In other news, post a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has decided to send Union Ministers Hardeep Puri, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Kiren Rijiju and Gen VK Singh to neighbouring countries of Ukraine to coordinate the evacuation mission and help students, government sources said.
