The year 2021 has been one of the toughest years for the Minister for Employment and Labour Relations, Ignatius Baffour, with three terrible incidents that have befallen him.

The Minister who doubles as the Member of Parliament for Sunyani West Constituency in Bono Region in March had the mast of his newly established radio station, Service Radio located in Sunyani crash down, killing a 13-year-old boy and destroying some shops. The radio station was off the air for some months.

In August, the Minister got involved in an accident while on his way to Nsoatre, his hometown for a funeral. He was in the company of the Chairman of the New Patriotic Party in Sunyani West, Evans Kwasi Boadum, who is now the Municipal Chief Executive for Sunyani West Municipality.

The latest tragedy is the involvement of Baffour Soccer Academy, a division 1 team belonging to the Minister in an accident on the Kumasi-Accra Highway leading to the death of the administrator of the team, Richard Kwaku Adjei and the coach, Ibrahim Mohammed.

Information indicates the Minister is going through difficult moments and needs prayers.
