Thierry Henry Backs Daniel EK’s Arsenal Takeover Bid
According to Thierry Henry, Daniel EK will bring back the DNA of the club which has long gone.

The legend of the Gunners, Thierry Henry has confirmed his involvement on why he is backing Daniel EK’s Arsenal takeover bid.
When asked by sky sports whether he was involved in the consortium with the Swedish billionaire to purchase Arsenal, Thierry Henry said,
“It is true. Daniel is an Arsenal fan. He did not say it for any publicity, he has been an Arsenal fan for a very long time. He approached us, we listened to him and we knew, first and foremost, that he wanted to involve the fans.”
Thierry openly revealed that the Swedish billionaire has already reached out to the Kroenke family, who have publicly stated they have no interest in selling Arsenal FC. Henry. The former Gunner captain revealed that EK wants to re-inject the Arsenal DNA and bring back the true identity of the club which he believes is long gone.
Henry explained that they don’t have a lot of Arsenal people on the board, who can show the right direction, and that is exactly what Daniel wants to do pinpointing that a lot of people are fed up with the current owners.
“He already reached out and said himself that he has collected the funds to put in a good bid. A lot of people have been screaming that they want the owner out. We are trying to offer a solution, involving the fans and the DNA back in the club.”
He stressed that EK’s potential takeover would take a long time to complete since the current owners are still not willing to sell.
“The takeover is going to be long and not easy. And Daniel will not move away, he will be there waiting to see if they want to sell. That’s going to take a very long time. We know what we want to do but, first and foremost, we need to make sure that we take over if they are listening.”
In conclusion, the all-time leading goalscorer with 226 goals for the Gunners said, let’s see where this would lead us to, though he doesn’t know what the future holds. Thierry says, he doesn’t have that kind of money to talk about it, so he believes the transaction of the selling of the club should be between Daniel and the Kroenke family.
