Mrs Eva Aryee has called on people in the Ahafo Region to take the various covid-19 protocols seriously to prevent spread.

Residents in the Tano North Municipality of the Ahafo Region are living in fear as the District records three suspected Covid-19  cases.

District Security Council (DISEC) and the Regional Public Health Emergency Management Committee have jointly implemented a range of preventive measures to stop a spread to the municipality and key among them is the inter-agency coordination, laboratory testing, case management, social mobilisation, risk communication, and enhanced port surveillance within the region.

The Municipal Health Director, Mrs Eva Aryee who confirmed the case to Soireenew Regional Correspondent, Sulley Dramani after the Bomaaman Association of the United States and Canada donated hospital Equipment worth GH₵5000 to help fight against deadly decease pandemic.

According to her, the Municipal Health Directorate has begun contact tracing; to identify people who have recently been in contact with affected persons. She urged residents to practice social distancing to prevent community spread.

President of Bomaaman Association, Daasebre Kofi Anane Amponsah pleaded to Government to aid them an Ambulance and embark on the construction of Bomaa-Duayaw Nkwanta road to help them access quick Emergency health care.
