The Twelve rejected Regional Ministers of Ghana may have the opportunity to serve in different portfolios.

Twelve out of the Sixteen formal Regional Ministers who served under the  Nana Addo's first-term government have lost their positions following the new nomination lists of appointment.

In a statement signed by the Acting Communications Director from the Office of the Presidency, Mr Eugene Arhin indicate that only four formal regional ministers have been reassigned to occupy their seats out of the sixteen who served their various regions until January 6th 2021.

The four nominees made up of Ashanti Regional Minister, Honorable Simon Osei Mensah, Honorable Archibald Yao Letsa who represented the Volta Region, Honorable Dr Hafiz Salih of the Upper West Region and the formal Regional Minister for Western Region, Honorable Kwabena Okyere Darko.

The rejected stones are Evans Opoku Bobie of the Ahafo Region, Kofi Amoako Hene of the Bono East region, former Bono Regional Minister Evelyn Ama Kumi Richardson, Kwamena Duncan of the Central region, followed by almighty Ishmael Ashitey of the Greater Accra.

The rest include Salifu Saeed who represented the Northern region, Solomon Namliit Boar of the North East region, Kwasi Owusu Yeboah of Oti region.

Salifu Adam Braimah was the Regional Minister for Savannah, ignored Rockson Ayine Bukari of the Upper East, and Kingsley Aboagye Gyedu of the Western North region.

It might be possible these twelve rejected Ministers may have the opportunity to serve in different portfolios but not as Regional Ministers in the second term of Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo.
