Contractor abandons Asensu –Dwain deplorable road, Assembly member calls for immediate action 

Assemblymember for Asensu No.1 Electoral Area in the Dormaa Central Municipal in the Bono Region Mr. Eric Yeboah Kyeremeh is calling for immediate continuation of the abandoned Asensu – Dwain road.

According to him, the road which was constructed in the year 2000 did not see any facelift until the later part of 2020 when the general elections were fast approaching where a contractor started working on the road.

The Assemblymember claims, the said contractor left the site immediately after the general election and has since not returned

Mr. Yeboah told Ark FM in Sunyani that the said farm produces are left to rot on the farm because farmers do not get vehicles to convey the produce due to the nature of the road.

Consequently, he is appealing to the Dormaa Central Municipal Assembly to call the contractor to continue work on the devastating road.
