Suhum Citizens Assesses Performance MP’s 2 Years In Office.

The residents of Suhum Constituency in the Eastern Region in their capacity as stakeholders have assessed the performance of the Member of Parliament Honourable Kwadwo Oboafo Asante after two years in office as the Member of Parliament.

January 7, 2023, which was the National Constitutional day was used to assess his performance after he has assume office for two years as the lawmaker for the people.

A statement issued by the Suhum residents stated that exactly two years today, the MP answered the call of Suhum Constituents to represent them in Ghana’s Parliament has brought a lot of benefits but has not failed them at all.

The call was for him to continue the good works of predecessors in terms of legislation, lobbying for projects and opportunities for his constituents.

Judging from the above, they can only be proud of ever having him as a Member of Parliament for just halfway into his first term in office.

They listed that in just 2 years in office, the Constituency has seen many impactful interventions from the MP.

Notably is the provision of educational facilities, materials and interventions such as special support for students to improve upon their academic performance.

His interventions made them see improvement in their road networks in the Constituency.

The Suhum Citizens also claimed the MP’s support for the Health sector is unprecedented and started the construction of the Ultra-modern Abatuar facility at Suhum Atta Mills road to support the socio-economic sector in the area.

Additionally, they explained that he has created a lot of jobs and scholarships for most of the youth in the area as well as providing financial support for the constituents, a gesture they described as unmatched.

The Suhum Citizens commended the MP for his massive contribution towards the development and construction of an ultra-modern school building at Suhum Koransang, Nankese, and renovated some of the school buildings, churches and roads.

For the Suhum Constituency from his kind benevolence has branded a new bus for the smooth operation of the Constituency for the party members.

According to them, he has indeed proven that it is possible to combine Parliamentary and Official Engagements but still be visible in his constituency.

The statement by the Suhum Citizens concluded with encouragement to the Honourable Kwadwo Oboafo Asante to keep the good works up but also pray for wisdom, grace and love from God in his second year as a Member of Parliament and forevermore to perform beyond measure.
