Special voting at the Central Police Station in the Subin Constituency is ongoing and no setbacks have so far been recorded since filing the report.

Two polling stations for special voting is available; Polling Station A has a number of 694 voters in the register and B also has 693 voters.

As at 9 am, 139 and 135 have voted peacefully in polling station A and B respectively.

Speaking to the Commander for Prisons in the Ashanti Region, DDP Samuel Owusu Amponsah, he revealed delight in the conduct of persons involved in the voting process and reported that no challenges have been encountered as at the time.

“People are decently in the queue waiting to cast their votes,” he said.

“They are all in masks and observing the coronavirus health protocols and it’s been very decent here. We have not registered missing person names in the register so far.”
