According to him most of the feeder roads needs immediate attention to avoid further decline in farming activities.

He said when it gets to raining season farmers find it difficult to convey their farm produce to market.

He said Government has awarded some portion of the roads to contract and calls on the contractors to speed up work.

He stated that the Sene East District Assembly is doing all its best to solve the problem but can't do it alone and therefore appealing to NGOs, corporate bodies, and the Ministry of Road to come to their aid.

Again he said one of their challenge as a new district is the lack of permanent office and accommodation for Agric Officers.

He said they are currently operating from the temporal structure which is not the best and also called for individual support.
