Wes Brown has spoken that Jadon Sancho’s inclusion in the Manchester United squad would enrich the team to challenge for honors in the seasons ahead.

The former Red Devils defender has asserted that his ability to score and assist goals is an element the Premier League club has been missing for years, an ornament made for the team.

“It would be excellent if United got Sancho,” Brown told Sky Sports News.

“We’ve got some young, exciting attacking players but Sancho would be another layer of the cake.

“He’s exciting, he’s young, he can score goals and is good with assists. If they can get that done it would be perfect. United can always improve.

“The defense, midfield [can be improved], the more competition going on all over the field, the better the team becomes.”

Manchester United seem stagnant on Jadon Sancho’s transfer since Michael Zorc dismissed the deal and reiterated that the 20-year old will play in the Bundesliga next season.

United have so far not affected the transfer market as speculations keep linking Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side to different players.

Sevilla recently knocked the Red Devils out of the Europa League competition to end their hopes of winning a trophy this season.

Their first game has been postponed as they make progress in their pre-season, having begun late along with Manchester City than any of the PL clubs.

They welcome Crystal Palace on September 19, 2020, at Old Trafford before playing at the Amex the following week.

With the transfer window still active, Solskjaer's side cannot be written off. The window was opened on July 27, the day after the season finished, and will close on Monday, Oct. 5.
