Police Arrest Sakawaa Man For Buying Students Used Sanitary Pads For Rituals At Obrachire

A 25-year-old Sakawa man name withheld from Agona Swedru in the Central Region was reported to have been arrested by the teachers of Awutu Obrachire Secondary Technical School and handed over to Bawjiase District Police Command for allegedly buying the already used sanitary pads from students for  ritual purposes. 

Information gathered indicates that, the suspect paid GH¢100 to one of the female students at the Awutu Obrachire Secondary Technical School and asked her to package all the used sanitary pads for him which will be given to his chairman. 

Sources within the Sakawa boys revealed, they normally connived with some of the SHS girls especially the borders and buy used pads for ritual purposes. 

In  an interview with Soireenews.com, one of the teachers name withheld revealed that, the guy paid GH¢100  to one of the female students and asked her to package all the used sanitary pads for him and pledged to pay her very well. 

The teacher said, after the agreement, the girl informed some of the teachers and her colleagues. 

He said after some days, they bought new sanitary pads painted with red colour and asked the suspect to come for them and he came to pick the pads, he was picked up  some police officers.

The teacher said , after the arrest the suspect confirmed that, he was assigned by his chairman at Agona Swedru and they used them for ritual purposes.
