A 27-year-old man, Agya Asuo is in the grips of Assin Praso Police Command in the Assin North District of the Central Region for allegedly compounded a human skull in his room at Assin Bereku.
Before the skull would be buried, the Chiefs in the area will pour libation and perform other rituals. This is according to the Assemblyman of the area, Charles Saasi who speaks to the media.
He further said the suspect Agya Asuo is alleged to be mentally impaired.
The suspect was caught in his room, beaten to a pulp, and nearly lost his life.
The angry residents of Assin Bereku beat the suspect with sticks, metals, and other weapons for retrieving the human skeleton in his room.
The suspect was caught on Wednesday evening. According to the assembly, the suspect will be sent to Akaful for an examination.
It took several hours before police in the area intervein to rescue the suspect.
The suspect was later sent to the Assin Bereku Police custody assisting the investigation.
