Police Probe Murder Of 34-year-old Man at Accra Tantra Hill
The Greater Accra Regional Public Relations Officer of Ghana Police Service, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Mrs Effia Tenge says the injured has been sent to the hospital for medical assistance while the deceased is deposited at the Police Hospital Morgue for preservation and autopsy.

Police in Greater Accra Regional Command has commenced serious investigation into the gruesome murder of a 34-year-old man, Master Stephen Akowuah who was shot dead at Tantra Hill on July 22, 2021.
Briefing the journalists yesterday in Accra, Greater Accra Regional Public Relations Officer of Ghana Police Service, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Mrs Effia Tenge disclosed that the deceased, Stephen Akowuah, believed to be a physical instructor, was shot around 0100 in his apartment.
According to her, the police received a distress call and responded accordingly where the caller directed them to the deceased’s apartment.
Upon arrival, she noted that the police were informed that three heavily built men stormed the residence and shot the deceased without any provocation before attacking other rooms to rob tenants of their mobile phones and various sums of money.
ASP Mrs Effia Tengeh mentioned that a tenant was also hit on the head, injuring him in the process.
She pointed out that the injured has been sent to the hospital for medical assistance while the deceased is deposited at the Police Hospital Morgue for preservation and autopsy.
