Peace and Development should be Paramount to All-Ncce Director Nkwanta South

The Nkwanta South Municipal  Director of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) Mr John Taderi has urged chiefs, residents and opinion leaders of the Nkwanta South Municipality of the Oti Region to live peaceably with all.

According to him, peace and unity is a pedal for growth acceleration in every community.

Mr John Taderi was speaking at an inter-party dialogue committee meeting on empowering Ghanaians to stand for national cohesion and inclusiveness in the Nkwanta South Municipality of the Oti region.
     
The program was aimed at educating the youth and other stakeholders on the effects of violence in a society.

He appealed to all to seek peace and unity for development.

The Nkwanta South Municipal Immigration Commander, Supt. Philip Gyekyi Nimfa also urged the chiefs, elders and the youth to avoid violence for their own sake. 

He therefore appealed to all Ghanaians to endeavour to work hard to maintain the peace the country is enjoying.

To the media and the security services, he said, they play a crucial role when it comes to issues of information and being voice for the voiceless as well as security.

Some of the participants also shared their views about the program  saying that it is peace and unity they always pray for , hence the youth most importantly must be given some of such education and eye-opener to enable them abstain from anything that will disrupt the peace of the people of Nkwanta South.
