The New Nsuta Junior High School Form three-building has collapsed and left a student injured.

Bernard Kwabena Opoku of form 1 exited class out to pass water only to find himself on a hospital bed at Obuasi with his uniform soiled with blood.

The building according to reports by the victim had developed massive cracks until it finally went down at 1 pm on Friday afternoon, January 22, 2021.

Narrating the incident to journalists, Kwabena told that "I went out to urinate and on my way, part of the form three building collapsed and fell on me and the next thing I realised was waking up on a hospital bed."

"The school looks unattractive, we share the classrooms with goats and sheep, we sometimes encounter faeces in our classrooms which is very disturbing to us. The nature of the class was very threatening and the government must do something about it for the sake of our lives and future. I might have survived today but tomorrow could be a different story to tell,” he added.
