The Headmaster of Mampong Presby SHS disclosed that most of the new classroom locks will be ready before the SHS one report to school in March 2021.

The government of Ghana led by His Excellency, President Nana Addo Dankwah in his last Covid 19 address to the nation assured Ghanaians of his plans to end double-track system for first and the third-year Senior High School students upon the resumption of school from January 18th and March 10th respectively.

The President reiterated that his government is on course to improved infrastructural systems in most of the Senior High Schools and a tour made by SoireeNews Eastern Regional Correspondent proved the call made by Nana Addo on the infrastructure.

A visit to three Municipalities and some district shows that infrastructures are been put up in almost all the SHS in the Eastern region.

In an interview with the headmaster of Mampong Presby Senior High School, Mr Richard Yeboah Acheampong told that three different projects are ongoing in his school to boost the president's initiative on the Free SHS program.

He added that 12 unit classroom blocks which were started about a year ago is 75% completed and all things being equal, it could be ready before the SHS one report to school in March 2021.

He lamented that two-storey buildings for Boys Dormitory is also underway and hoped the GETFund projects will help accommodate the number of students in the school.

He finally stressed that the school have enough accommodation for the SHS 2 and 3 reporting to school next week.
