Sevilla coach, Julen Lopetegui has admitted that the focus of every team that makes it to the finals is to win the ultimate prize, and that is what his team is up to.

The Spanish club ended Manchester United’s  campaign following a 2-1 win in Germany on Sunday night

Sevilla, been the most successful club in the Europa League, have won the trophy five times (2006, 2007, 2014, 2015 and 2016).

The Red Devils struck first through a Bruno Fernandes penalty in the 9-minute before Suso leveled in the 26-minute to end the first half.

Luuk de Jong scored a second in the 78-minute to collapse the Premier League club’s chances.

"We've done it and now we have to rest, once you get to a final you want to win it," Lopetegui said joyously.

"We hugged in joy, we know everything this team has been through, today included and we have that resilience to grow against intensity."

"It was a game of resilience, of being able to compete to the limit as we always do.

"Manchester United were the best team in England after the return following quarantine, they have an extraordinary future ahead.

"There are few teams with the midfield play of Manchester United, in the first half we could control it and at the start of the second half we didn't but Bono was fantastic.

"After that we balanced things out and had chances to do them damage."

Sevilla are in wait for the winner of the second semifinal game between Inter and Shakhtar Donetsk on Monday night.
