Pierre Emerick Aubameyang Is monitoring the progress of the Barca-Martinez deal if an agreement could be reached.

The success of that transfer means Aubameyang would require to extend his stay at the Emirates as he enters the final year of his contract.

Barcelona have already shown interest in the 30-year old Gabonese and the dream of Aubameyang joining the Spanish giants’ rests on the failure of Martinez’s deal.

Arsenal is in talks with the former Borussia Dortmund player on an extension yet no response has been given.

Although Lautaro Martinez has made up his mind to join only Barcelona when the current season ends, yet the Catalans seem short of finances to trigger his €111 million release clause from Inter Milan.
