Neymar remains a doubt for Paris Saint Germain’s Champions League first leg match against Barcelona at the Camp Nou.

The Brazilian was forced off after picking an injury on Wednesday evening against Caen in the French Cup, a game which saw the Ligue 1 Champions triumph by a goal to nil at the Stade Michel-d’Ornano, kind courtesy of a Moise Kean early second-half goal.

Paris Saint Germain takes on the Catalan club on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, as they hope to replicate last season’s performance and advance to the final and if possible, win the trophy for the first time.

Di Maria has already been ruled out in that game and as reported by Mauricio Pochettino. The Argentine’s thigh injury last week means he won't recover early to play in the game which comes off in five days time.

"Di Maria won't be able to play against Barcelona,” he said as copied from Marca.

“We will communicate in a week to see where we are," PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino confirmed in his post-match press conference.

"We will try to put out the best team in any game, that is 100 per cent in every position. He is an important player, but we have a big squad."
