Despite returning to LaLiga Santander with a 3-1 victory over Eibar, there is some anger in the Real Madrid dressing room concerning their upcoming fixtures.

Real Madrid took on Eibar at 19:30 CET on Sunday but will the next four rounds of LaLiga Santander at 22:00 CET.

The kick-off times have annoyed the Real Madrid players, especially when it comes to the away games.

Between anti-doping control, airport transfers, and traveling from Valdebebas to their homes, Real Madrid players won't get home until well into the night which could have a serious impact on their recovery time, especially as there's only three days between fixtures.

The current scheduling prevents the players from making a proper recovery in a new format that is already overloaded due to the compression of fixtures.

It is believed, especially in the case of away games, that LaLiga should do everything in its power to put player health first, including implementing a schedule that allows for adequate recovery time.

Of the next four fixtures in which Real Madrid play at 22:00 CET, Barcelona will also have to do so on three occasions.

Barcelona play twice at home, against Leganes and Athletic Club, and once away against Sevilla.

However, Quique Setien's side will make their most difficult journey from a logistical point of view on Matchday 32, as they travel across the country to Galicia to face Celta Vigo at 17:00 CET.

On that same matchday weekend, Real Madrid play a day later and at 22:00 CET against Espanyol.

Within Real Madrid, there is a lot of surprise at the disparity in terms of scheduling criteria between two clubs that are competing for the 2019/20 LaLiga Santander title.
