Jovial Ghanaian radio host, Nana Agyei Sikapa, has been reported to have passed away.

According to the reports, the presenter who was contracted to Peace FM, passed away after he was rushed to the hospital last Saturday due to a long, protracted, and recurring illness that refused to go away over the years despite multiple treatments. 

The nature of the illness that the Twi newsreader of Despite Group of Companies has not been revealed.

He joins the continually expanding list of celebrities who have died this year. Kofi B, Bernard Nyarko, Evangelist Emmanuel Kwaku Apraku, Kwadwo Wiafe, Miliky Micool, and Nana Tuffour have all died due to one relating illness all the other.

A closer check might reveal that all their illnesses might have been aggravated by the same cause in 2020, but no evidence ties all the deaths together therefore it should be dismissed. The probability, however, remains fresh till disproved. 

 

 

He was the host of ‘Wogyedie ne sen’, ‘Wo bu be aa’, and ‘Tete’ on Peace FM. Prior to his switch to the media, Nana Agyei Sikapa he taught both at Atwima Agogo and Abuakwa R/C Primary School for several years.

He is survived by his wife and six children.
