He claims that despite parting ways, he still has a positive relationship with his former song producer, Kaywa.

Mr. Drew responded that they get along well and that his fans are more interested in his new songs now that he is an independent artist when asked about the nature of his relationship with his ex-producer.

"We're great. Whether or not I'm providing my listeners more music, they care more about the song itself. If I don't provide the music for them, Giovanni Caleb, his host, he said.

The Ghanaian hitmaker remarked of being an independent artist, "It's good; it's fine. Although difficult, we are already experiencing it, therefore it is absolutely normal.

Using the opportunity, Mr. Drew thanked his former producer and disclosed that, as a gesture of goodwill, he departs the label with his income.

I'd want to take this opportunity to thank Papa Kaywa and Highly Spiritual Music for collaborating with me over the past five years. It hasn't been simple, therefore I want to thank him. I'm really appreciative. My royalties will be given to the label. That, in my opinion, ought to be a component of my expression of gratitude and thanks to Highly Spiritual Music. I give the label my portion of the royalties," he stated.

Since quitting his record company, the musician, also known as Andrew Nii Commey Otoo outside of the music industry, has been at odds with producer Kaywa.

Kaywa, who also founded Highly Spiritual, has charged the artist with being unappreciative in his manner of leaving the record company.

This depiction has drawn the musician's vehement objection, which she has vigorously disputed on several forums.
