Monecracy In Our NDC's Politics Must Have Stopped Now-Losing MP Aspirant  In Cape Coast North Insists
The losing parliamentary hopeful of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Cape Coast North Constituency of the Central Region Mr. Muntari Ibrahim has has urged delegates and members of the party to follow the traditions and principles of the NDC.
Mincing no words, he warned the members of the party to shun their continuous practices of demanding huge sums of money from the candidates before willing to vote in their favours to win the elections.
The young outspoken politician said that it is a high time of the members of the NDC must shun monecracy and abide by the tenets of truth, fearlessness, critique, and hard work.
Speaking in an interview Soireenews.com Mr. Ibrahim expressed worry about how some delegates have been demanding huge amounts of money before voting, believing such behaviours must be ceased, since it does not correspond with our democracy.
“I think we the decision of the delegates to demand before they vote for you is destroying our electioneering system. We need to take a second look at such practices in our political cycle, since it gives awful names to the political system. Let’s all join hands in the fight against these dangerous practices in the political scene,” he stated.

Speaking further , he expressed his readiness to cooperate with the elected candidate for victory ahead of the 2024 general elections.
He says, we understand and place ahead of the party interests of all, so I have accepted the outcome of the contest in good faith.
Whilst addressing the press, Mr Ibrahim noted that the delegates have spoken and therefore the need to respect the choice made.
“I am ready to support the winning candidate to fight for the party’s victory come 2024 general elections. I think we all have to support and put the party’s interest ahead of all.”
“I want to express my gratitude to the party executives, supporters and all those who imposed their trust in me. I will entreat all the supporters to remain calm and united after the primaries, since we all have a common goal of winning the 2024 general elections.
