Minister commends Assembly Members for endorsing President's nominees in Ahafo Region
The Assembly members endorsement across the board is an indication of their willingness to fastrack the development of the various Assemblies, Ahafo Regional Minister, Honourable George Boakye.

The Ahafo Regional Minister, Honourable George Boakye has commended Assembly Members in the Ahafo Region for the confirmation of President Akufo Addo's nominees for the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs).
The Assembly Members for Tano South, Tano North, Asutifi North, Asutifi South, Asunafo North and the Asunafo South have endorsed the President's nominees following the appeals made by the chiefs in the Region.
Speaking at confirmation of the Asunafo South District Chief Executive, Mr George Boakye extended his heartfelt gratitude to the Assembly Members for not disappointing the President and the eminent Chiefs in Region.
He charged the newly confirmed MMDCE's to always avail themselves to the people and consult widely before making any move.
He expressed satisfaction about the fast acceptance of the MMDCE's in the region.
He further thanked the revered Chiefs in the Ahafo Region, regional executives of both NPP and NDC leadership for making the confirmation process.
According to him, the Assembly members endorsement across the board is an indication of their willingness to Fastrack the development of the various Assemblies.
Mr George Boakye has participated in all the confirmations in the Region ensuring the nominees get confirmation
