 Knutsford University College(KUC), a royal private tertiary institution in East Legon has held a historic 12th graduation and matriculation ceremony in grand style.

The dual occasions of matriculation and graduation came off last Saturday, November 26, 2022, at the forecourt of the University.

Themed "The Post Covid-19 Era:Redefining New Perspectives For Education", matriculants were urged to seize the opportunity to explore in order to graduate as refined individuals.

In all, a total of 241 matriculants for both the KUC's Accra and Kumasi campuses comprising 120 males and 121 females representing 49.8% and 50% respectively were matriculated.

Also, 264 graduates from the two campuses made up of 129 males(48.9%) and 135 females(51.1%) were granted various certificates and churned into the job market to create opportunities in the economy.

Addressing the gathering of students, parents, Ambassadors, Presidents of various institutions, lecturers, heads of departments amongst others, the President of KUC, Bishop Dr. Douglas Akuamoah Boateng appealed to the Special Guest of Honour who is the United Arab Emirates Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Amer Ali Alalawi for financial support to assist students who are unable to pay their fees and those who for one reason or the other could not continue with their various programmes.

Dr Akuamoah noted that if the request is granted,it will improve the social inclusion policy of the university.

The president further appealed for what he termed technical support in improving the Information Technology infrastructure of the University to enable many more students to be resourced and bringing them up-to date with the growing technological innovations.

He said the move will help Knutsford University College realise its dream of operating a virtual platform with the mainstream face-to-face in order to serve a larger population of students.

For the purpose of exchange programmes, the President appealed that KUC be linked to Universities in the United Arab Emirates.

In that regard, he noted that a well- technological infrastructure will aid teaching and learning, a lesson he said covid-19 had taught.

At the end, he urged the graduates to demonstrate the values of the university to guide them through life.

He expressed the university's uttermost gratitude to the Almighty God for His sustenance, guidance and protection.
