Manchester United will not be deducted points over the postponement of their game against Liverpool on Sunday, talkSPORTS has confirmed.

The Red Devils could suffer a fine after inappropriate security measures as fans invaded Old Trafford and forced and others blocked the United players at their Lowry Hotel ahead of the game leading to a postponement.

Fans protest is against the attitude of the Glazer family towards the Premier League club following their decision to join the European Super League in the name of selfish gains without proper management of the club. Gary Neville earlier told that “we haven't won a league here at Manchester United for eight years. The land around the ground is undeveloped, dormant and derelict while every other club seems to be developing the facilities and the fan experience,” accusing the club’s poor performance to owners carelessness.

Two Police officers have been reported injured and the news outlet report that since it was the Premier League that postponed the game and not the club, point’s deduction is not unlikely.
