Neymar’s transfer to Barcelona will not happen this season.

The news came as a shock when one of his agents, Wagner Ribeiro told Fox News that the former Barca star will not be feasible.

Neymar has been linked to join Barcelona for some time now since his €222 million (£198 million) in August of 2017. The Spanish team seem to have missed the Brazilian after his remarkable feat during his days at the Camp Nou.

Madrid almost usurped the deal last season to their favor and are still in working around for the services of Neymar but Ribeiro has confirmed that his client's transfer to Spain will not happen this season due to the coronavirus pandemic which has affected the football budget so bad.

Speaking to Fox Sports, he revealed that, “I think Neymar will stay at PSG because the market is different.

“The economic world of football will change.”

“I have been in Madrid many times because Florentino Pérez’s goal is to recruit Neymar [to Real Madrid.] Last year, in May, I was with him in his office. He told me he had a dream to sign him.”
