Cristiano Ronaldo put four goals past Lithuania to give Portugal a 5-1 victory over Lithuania yesterday in their Group B Euro 2020 qualifiers.

The goals against Lithuania extends his total hat trick for club and country to 54 in his entire career. He becomes the only player to score a hat trick in 12 different countries including Portugal, Italy, Russia, Spain, Japan, England, etc.

The Juventus man opened the scores in the 7-minute through a penalty to give the visitors the lead in the first half. He added a second in the 61-minute and continued with a third and fourth in the 65 and 76- minute respectively. William Carvalho wrapped up the night with the fifth goal in stoppage time, which moved Portugal up second place with eight points with a game in hand.

Speaking after the game, the Captain of Portugal said he want to keep scoring goals. He added that he is enjoying the moment based on the record achieved by his country, which gives him much pleasure to keep helping the team.
