Man 35, stabs friend to death over beer bottle

Atta Kwadwo has allegedly been murdered by his friend over a bottle of beer at a drinking spot at Duayaw Nkwanta in the Tano North District of the Ahafo Region.
The omen happened last Saturday afternoon 6th March 2021.
According to an eyewitness, Mr. Osei Banahene, a 35-year-old man (suspected murderer) was a friend of the deceased, Atta Kwadwo, 45 years who lived in the same vicinity.
The murderer, Osei Banahene had reserved a slice of meat to complement a beer he had ordered.
The deceased who entered the bar not long after took one bottle of the beer-drinking it continuously.
Mr. Osei Banahene who had become uncomfortable with the act tried to stop his friend but failed where it intensified into a strong argument.
The suspected murderer Osei Banahene, who is believed to have acted under the influence of alcohol stabbed his friend with a beer bottle and that led to the death of Atta Kwadwo.
The murderer however has been detained in the Duayaw Nkwanta police custody for intensive investigation.
