The Techiman Area Credit Manager of Microfinance and Small Loans Center (MASLOC), Mr. Badwom Dimme Issah Abu has given loan defaulters under the scheme in the Bono East   Up to April Ending my payment  Or Face Prosecution.

The Techiman Area Credit Manager of Microfinance and Small Loans Center (MASLOC), Mr. Badwom Dimme Issah Abu has given loan defaulters under the scheme in the Bono East   Up to April Ending my payment  Or Face Prosecution.

Mr. Issah Abu explained that those who fail to meet the deadline will be sent to court for the prosecution to retrieve the locked-up monies.

In a telephone interview with Soiree News, Nana Anfreh Damanata on Tuesday, Mr. Abu said "MASLOC has disbursed a total sum of GH¢ 8 million to over six thousand beneficiaries in the Bono East region within five years period.

Mr. Badwom Dimme Issah Abu however explained that only GH¢ 2 million has been retrieved from the defaulters.

In recent times, the government of Ghana has made loans available through many programs to ease poverty. 
Therefore, Masloc loans is a microfinance loan program for start-ups and small businesses. 
They modestly established it to finance the poor in the various sectors of the Ghanian economy. 
Essentially, this Masloc loan is targeted at reducing poverty, creating employment and wealth.
