A source from Adeiso Clinic indicates, that Sixteen (16) accident victims of the deadly multiple vehicular crashes at Adeiso in Upper West Akyem District in the Eastern Region of Ghana have been discharged from the various health facilities they were receiving treatments.

Three (3) are however on admission one at St. Dominic hospital Akwatia, and two others are in St. Joseph’s hospital in Koforidua the regional capital.

Eunice Annor,51, who was in her shop was crushed to death while about 25 others including a pregnant woman were injured in the multiple vehicular crashes which occurred on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Adeiso.

A nurse, who spoke to this reporter on anonymity opined that as of today September 1, 2021, only one person is confirmed dead, adding that all the injured victims are responding to treatment while 16 others have been treated and discharged.

The crash occurred at about 4:00 pm when a Kia Rhino Truck transporting Sachet water failed to break while descending towards the main township of Adeiso.

The truck crashed three vehicles and several motorbikes parked at the roadside.

The impact forced one of the vehicles to crash a shop killing a female occupant at the spot.
