FLAGBEARER of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) former President John Dramani Mahama was the guest of Honor at a ceremony organized by the Ghana Muslim Mission in Kumasi yesterday. 

The former President used the occasion to talk about the need for an extra Eid holidays for Muslims especially during the Eid- ul Fitr celebration.
 He said most often there are disagreements amongst Muslims on the sighting of the moon( after the 29 or 30days of fasting), making it difficult to determine the date for Eid prayers. 

He also touched on the 24 hour economy policy which would be the panacea to the teeming unemployed youth. 
The President of the Ghana Muslim Mission, Alhaji Dr Amin Bonsu thanked H.E John Dramani Mahama for his support to the Muslim community and the policies he has outlined. 

Accompanying Mr Mahama was Alhaji Cole Younger, Dr Mustapha Ahmed, Chairman Nana Kwasi, Honorable Collins Dauda, Honourable Bawah Braimah-MP, Honourable Adamu Ramadan, Honourable Abdul Salam of New Edubiase, Alhaji Ahmed, Regional and constituency executives.
