Lower West Akim NDC Parl Primaries: Owen Kwame Frimpong,Darling Boy Will Be Going Through The Vetting On Tuesday April 4, 2023 

Mr Frimpong was billed to appear before the members of the vetting committee of the NDC on Tuesday April 4, 2023 from 11:30 am, according to the timetable scheduled for the vetting of parliamentary aspirants in a press statement released by the NDC.

A Ghanaian young entrepreneur, Mr. Owen Kwame Frimpong who is affectionately called Darling Boy will be vetting by the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to contest the Lower West Akim Constituency parliamentary primaries on the ticket of the NDC come May 13, 2023.
Mr Frimpong was billed to appear before the members of the vetting committee of the NDC on Tuesday April 4, 2023 from 11:30 am, according to the timetable scheduled for the vetting of parliamentary aspirants in a press statement released by the NDC.
This was disclosed by Mr Frimpong in an interview with Soireenews.com on Sunday April 3, 2023 to officially update his supporters, friends, sympathisers including the members of the NDC in the constituency.
Mr Frimpong entreated the supporters and members of the NDC in the Lower West Akim Constituency to strictly abide by the current directives issued by the leadership of vetting committee of the NDC in the connection of the vetting guidelines and procedures to ensure peaceful coexistence in the vetting ground of the aspirants.
The leadership of the NDC stated in a press statement that the following directives are to be adhered to by all parliamentary aspirants.The directive indicated that the supporters of aspirants should not be more than five (5) 
who defies these orders will have themselves to blame, aspirants are not to bus supporters to the venue, indiscipline on the part of candidates’ supporters will not be entertained and any aspirants  and any bus load of supporters will not be allowed to the venue.
The committee will be guided by the vetting guidelines and will be fair and just without fear or favour," the statement stressed..
Mr Frimpong called on delegates and members of the NDC in the area to equally support him to win the NDC parliamentary primaries.
He stressed that he is only candidate who has the capacity and competent to lead the NDC to take over the parliamentary seat from the New Patriotic Patty (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) in the 2024 general elections.
 
Mr Frimpong stated that he would consider  any position on ballot since he can be easily identified on the ballot.
 
“I want to call on the delegates and members of the NDC to vote for me to win the incoming NDC parliamentary primaries in Lower West Akim in order to win the seat for them. I am not in the race for my own personal interest or to win and amass wealth for myself," Mr Frimpong reaffirmed.
