Liverpool playing body swerves European Super League
The Reds skipper, Jordan Henderson and midfielder general James Milner took to Twitter to express their discontent on behalf of the playing body.

Captain and Vice-Captain of Liverpool, Jordan Henderson and James Milner respectively have released a statement against the club’s involvement in the European Super League.
The statement according to the players is a joint one from the entire playing body of the Premier League Champions in the midst of the expected collapse of the breakaway European Super League.
Liverpool are part of the six English clubs that joined the force yet a meeting by the organisers to scrap the idea due to criticism by fans and pundits across the globe is on course.
Although the Reds have not officially confirmed their exit yet the playing body’s decision is a statement of intent to withdraw from the controversy.
