The 2nd Deputy Speaker of Parliament who doubles as the Member of Parliament for the Fomena constituency, Honourable Lawyer Amoako Asiamah has paid a courtesy call on Opegya Kotwere Bonsrah Afiyie, Adansehene.

He used the opportunity to update Nananom on how Government has secured funds to complete the District hospital which will commence soon.

Hr updated that the Fomena township roads will soon see a facelift.

'I am ready to commit myself to see a transformed constituency and Adanseman', Honorable Lawyer Amoako Asiamah added.

Together with his team, they went through the main Street to have interactions with the constituents, paid a visit to the District Police Headquarters where he officially welcomed the new head.

Discussions unveiled an urgent need for a vehicle to help in their operations, and he promised to work on it in the shortest possible time.

"The new Police District Head office complex which commenced in my first tenure at Fomena will also see progress in the shortest possible time for the police to use the facility," he added.

The Fomena District Fire Station was not left out. The MP met the fire officers on the issue of mechanizing their pipes to ensure an effective discharge of their duties.

Regards to education, the MP stressed that he will empower his constituents, children who walk several miles to school will have access to schools closer to them.

"As a result of my great commitment to education, I passed by the District Education Directorate to meet the new director and all management to put in place measures to enhance education.

"We had discussions on how to ensure we improve the quality standards of education in the district. Denkyie, Kwakukrom, Achiase, Anyinabrem, Meduma, Bobriase, etc., in my vision, have been earmarked to benefit from impressive interventions in the area of education, and we are poised to make this a reality," he said.

He ended by pleading with the general public for support for his vision to come reality." 

"I am committed to transforming our Constituency. Let's join hands to make the transformational dream a reality."
