Lack of Facilities Causing Decline in Antenatal Attendance at the Bogoso Health Center-Director of Health. 

According to the director of the health service, although there has been a significant improvement in attendance after the maternity ward hasn't got it's place of operations yet, there's still more to be done to ensure effective delivery of health services to clients who attend the facility.

The Municipal Director for Health Service at the Prestea Huni Valley Municipality of the Western Region of Ghana, Joseph Kwame Sampson has stated that lack of privacy at the Bogoso health center was the major cause of the decline in Antenatal and birth delivery services at the facility as a result of lack of facilities. 
 
 According to the director of the health service, although there has been a significant improvement in attendance after the maternity ward hasn't got its place of operations yet, there's still more to be done to ensure effective delivery of health services to clients who attend the facility.

He made this remark when the Bogoso area township association- America and Ghana donated medical equipment worth about $12,000 to the maternity ward of the Bogoso health center.

Joseph Kwame Sampson in his address called on pregnant women to visit the hospital for maternity care which will enable them to cope with maternity and birth delivery issues as well.

Ghana's ambassador to Zimbabwe with concurrent accreditation to Mozambique and Comoros who"s also an executive member of the association Alexander Grant Ntrakwa speaking to the media said, the country’s development must not be the responsibility of only the government so it is appropriate as a citizen to give back to the community as they have done.
