Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Suhum Municipality in the Eastern Region, Mrs. Margaret Darko Darkwa, has performed sod-cutting ceremony to construct ultra-mordern water closet toilet facilities for the students of the Omenako Cluster Of Schools.

The MCE so cut- the sod for construction of the public toilet facility for the residents of Suhum Newtown.
 
The construction of the toilet facility for the school, when completed would go along way to argument the old aged challenges when the students have to dangerously close the Suhum-Accra-Kumasi high way before attending to the mature call during the school hours.
 
According to MCE, she has heard the crying of these kids hence his decision to cut sod for construction of 10 seater modern toilet facility for the school.
Apart from Omenako pupil who go through such difficulties, people of Suhum Newtown are not left out so far as public issue is concern.
Mrs Darko took the opportunity to cut sod for another modern toilet facility for the people of Suhum Newtown.
Speaking to Soireenews.com in an interview, she noted that during her familization tour these toilet problems  were noticed and as MCE she has no options that to come to the aid of her people.
She therefore urged people of Suhum municipality to have confidence in the her and NPP government since he working closely with the chiefs and Assembly members of the various electoral areas within the municipality to bring needed development to the municipality.
She added for the first,these products are been funded by IGF therefore they should be assured whatever tax the pay,the money will be used for the development of the municipality.
Suhum Nifahene, Nana Odei Amoako thanked the MCE for the projects.
He said, Suhum Newtown is closer to the Suhum roundabout and sometimes travellers asked for public toilet to attend nature's call but they never got the facility.
