QUEEN-MOTHER of Kwahu Obo in the Eastern Region, Nana Afriyie Ofosua Kobour ll, has organised a get-together party for the children at Kwahu Obo during the Festive Season with a call on the parents to take good care of their children'

The occasion served as as a platform to put smiles on the faces of the children by making them experience the joy.
Addressing the children, the Queen mother noted that the children to be mindful that  they are the future leaders of the communities and that they should should shun from themselves engaging in the acts that would be destroy their chances in the future.

She indicated that the occasion was to put smiles on the faces of the children by making them experience the happiness to assure them that, they are being catered for.
The participatory childres were treated to good music while they feasted with the Queenmother aside from what their parents had done for them during the festive season to inspire them.
According to Nana Afriyie Ofosua Kobour ll, she has successfully organized similar occasions for the past six years.

"The seventh (7) edition for the children across six (6) up of ten (10) wards and the party gave the kids a sense of pride to make them grow and become great leaders in future and apart from the fun aspect, the vulnerable children were given exercise books to boost their confidence and believe the children are future leaders to be encouraged to study hard," she said
The Nkosuohene of Akyem Moseaso, who doubles as CEO of Capital View Hotel, Nana Dwomo Brobbey was also graced the occasion of the get-together party organized for the children of Kwahu Obo by the Queenmother of Kwahu Obo.

For his part, the Nkosuohene of Akyem Moseaso, who doubles as CEO of Capital View Hotel, Nana Dwomo Brobbey, asked parents to invest more in their children’s education than they do in other activities and save for the furtherance of their children’s education.
He stressed that parents should not spend excessively on parties, but save enough to ensure accessible, equitable, quality and life-changing education for every children.
