Kwahu Nkwatia Nkosuohene, Nana Owiredu Wadie l, has donated free uniforms and school bags to Nkwatia District Assembly (D/A) basic and Junior High School (JSS) in the Eastern Region.
Earlier the chief used his one installation celebration to support the school of roofing its classroom block and also donated books in enhancing learning and teaching of the students in the school.
Addressing the gathering during the handing over of the school uniforms and bags, Nana Owiredu Wadie l, advised the beneficiary students.
He called on the pupils to take their studies seriously for the betterment of their future.
The Executive Director for KABAKA Foundation, Mr. Henry Lartey on behalf of Nana Owiredu Wadie l stressed the aim and encouraged the students to take their academic work seriously and also tasked them to be disciplined in the discharge of their studies.
The uniforms, numbering over 500, were well-received and appreciated by the school Headmaster, Mr. Ajire John Bosco of Kwahu Nkwatia D/A Basic and JHS.
On his Part, the Headmaster expressed his gratefulness to the Nkwatia Nkosuohene for paying special attention to the students and said the gesture will improve attendance.
