Kumawood actress, Victoria Fosua usually called 'Nana Yaa' has released a video to deny reports that claimed that she had died in a car accident on the 16th of May, 2020.

The actress revealed that she is very much alive and not dead as the media have reported and has asked her fans to disregard the information.

She admitted that the person that died looked like her, and so she can understand why people automatically assumed it was her.

The 43-year old Bono comic actress was reported to have been knocked down while on her motorbike by a taxi driver in what was reported to be a head on collision on the Nsutare Berekum-Sunyani Highway.

The news was said to have been further confirmed by Augustine Boateng, the brother of the deceased, who also said that the police were on the matter to get the full details of her passing. He claimed that the police had taken the driver taken into custom and was expected to bring him before a court.

Nana Yaa said the news came as a shock to her and had been receiving a lot of calls from all over because of her reported death. 

The fake news gained popularity as people were already sensitive from the death of well known comic actor, Bernard Nyarko, who died at the Ridge Hospital in Accra on the 2nd of May 2020.
