Actress / movie producer, Yvonne Nelson, has criticized certain Ghanaians who discredit the good works of Ghanaian Artiste, particularly Shatta Wale.
UK-based Ghanaian recording artiste, Fuse ODG few days ago expressed disappointment at certain bloggers and radio anchors for disbelieving in their own artistes and disreputing Shatta Wale.
According to report, Beyoncé’s “The Lion King” album earned nomination in the Best Pop Vocal Album category for this year’s Grammys which many people think, Shatta Wale is not a Grammy Nominee.

Yvonne Nelson, a fan of Shatta Wake reacting to the news took to her twitter to make her thoughts known,
“The hate in this industry, Shatta Wale has put Gh on the map!!! Ya all should be happy for him. I can’t believe even radio discussions are trying to discredit him, what at all should one do?? Ghana is proud of you Shatta! Congrats."
However, blogger Ebenezer Nana Yaw Donkor (NYDJ), who also work as a radio presenter at YFM, sent an email to the organizers regarding Shatta’s Grammys award.
“According to a mail received from the Grammys, only Artistes who have worked on over 51% playing time of the pop vocal album would be nominees. Any featured artiste with less than 51% would not be a nominee. That settles it. Shatta Wale is not a Grammy Nominee."
